Well, the market tells us that links from Joel’s site is indeed valuable. Sold out within 3 hrs, I believe. But it doesn’t mean that links from your PR5 site is same as his. :)

Hi Jason,
No, these links are only placed on the main page. They are not site wide, they do not appear in comments or in the individual post pages.
But sorry… all 7 are now sold.
I might do this again next month, I’m not sure yet.

Jason, could you be more specific about the word “sitewide”? Are you saying that I can add my competitor’s URL on my entire site and have that site penalized?

As long as these are not sitewide links they would be a good deal as Google now penalizes for purchasing sitewide links as the new link spam
