Not again! Google Wonder Wheel tool is gone with the latest Google Search interface change. Last time the tool disappeared in September of 2010, I was able to find it by turning off the instant search option, which was Google’s newest feature at that time.
Well, I turned off instant search option from search settings, and I still can’t find the Wonder Wheel. It was a perfect tool for brainstorming LSI keywords for my niche websites. It wasn’t the only tool, but I used it more than any other tools for LSI keywords.
There’s a great chance that Google forgot to include the tool on the sidebar with the latest interface change. I just hope that was the case this time. I really hate to see it go away. If I ever find out where it can be found, you will see it here first.

UPDATE : Looks like it wasn’t a mistake at all. It’s officially gone. A Google spokesperson confirmed it according to Search Engine Land.

I was somewhat perplexed myself when I noticed the Google Wonder Wheel Tool was missing. It will be interesting to see what Google will do or not do. The buzz is just starting to get out!!
Hi Galen, I think I was at your webpage yesterday, trying to find if it was indeed gone or not. Glad to see you here!

Oh Ugh! I just came to the same realization! Google, Google, Google… Do they ever ever ever check with users?
Haha apparently not, maybe they thought that they were giving away too much data. I think it’s the new trend over at Google; show less data…
Google is becoming like Big Brother. Gather as much information as they can about us while giving us less and less access to it. Kinda scary.
I totally agree with Wireless N Router! Google has so much info depending on our researches, plus when you use Google Maps to go somewhere… That’s why I’m not eager to use Google’s social network!
I do agree Google is collecting so much user data, but personally, I’m not too worried about the data being collected.
But I have to tell you that when I could see my house on Google street view, it was a bit scary!

I admit I would have been surprised too. Some people even complained because we could see them in their garden on Google Maps!
Hi,
Any tools out there like wonder whell? do the same job….
I really wanted to keep using this tool…I found it in a few videos and thought it was a great Google tool…Hopefully they bring it back and we can continue to do our jobs! Thanks for the update and the Google Rep confirmation. I’ll stop trying to find it and get back to work.
THANKS!
Can’t you just use the Google Keyword tool from Adwords?
The nice thing about the Google keyword tool is that you can search by country. Countries like US, UK and Australia can use slightly different variations of English.
