Free Stock Photos from Electronic Perceptions
Kathy over at the Electronic Perceptions is a real giver. She’s giving away free stock photos on her blog. You are free to use the photos marked as “Royalty-Free” under the terms defined. Please read the terms before you download them.
One thing I would like to see is some free high-resolution stock photos. I know she can do whatever she wants to do with her photos, but I feel that she can attract more traffic to her site if she gives away high-resolution versions for some of her photo sets. That would be really awesome.
I highly suggest that you bookmark her blog. New stock photos are posted daily basis. Thanks Kathy!

I appreciate the mention but you have the terms and usage wrong. On each picture page that is allowed to be used, you’ll find this statement:
“Free Use: Photos on this website are ©Kathy Burns-Millyard. You may use the small web sized versions shown above for personal or commercial websites, as long as you place a live link back to this website.
Copy and paste the code below to use this photo on your own website:”

Questions for you. I started letting people use the web sized versions on their websites at no cost in order to bring traffic in that might buy the high resolution versions and/or generate inquiries for specific photography work. You mention you’d like to see high resolutions given out for free…
1. What monetization method do you think I’d be able to use if I were giving high res pictures away? AdSense wouldn’t likely offset the bandwidth usage ;)
2. What use would most online marketers have for such high resolution photos? Mine are 10 megapixels, which creates a little bigger than 8×12 prints at 300dpi. The quality is high enough for them to be used on blown up works too, like posters or billboards.
