Don’t quit yet!
I’m really grateful that my blog inspired many marketers to explore niche marketing. Some are doing excellent and already working on their own, but most of you are struggling. I’ve been receiving growing number of emails asking about what they are doing wrong and why they are not seeing money flowing in.
If you are practicing niche marketing by content marketing, meaning building niche sites for your target audience, it WILL take some time for attracting visitors to your site. I can’t tell you how long it will take because I don’t know what you are doing daily to market your niche site. You NEED to set your daily goals, weekly goals, and monthly goals for marketing your niche website.
You need to spend 80% of your time promoting your site, and 20% on building and improving your site. If you are spending 20% on marketing, you are not going to see the result. Period. Marketing is what makes you money.
So what have you done today for attracting traffic to your site? If you have done nothing, I urge you go to your desk and set your daily marketing goals for your website, now.

Great Advice Bo. Thanks for sharing as always!
Marketing of your site is definitely what makes or breaks you.
I proved that to myself the other day with and old list I had. Built it up a couple of months ago with a niche website of mine. The other day I said, what the heck, let me email these guys with some good info and put up an affiliate link at the bottom of the email. That email went to 85 people (in a non internet marketing niche - was actually in the diet niche). I hadnt touched that list ever, never sent them a mailing and still made one sale for a 20$ commission.
I could have easily spent that extra 30 mins I had on improving my site design or creating a new template for the site, instead I focused on the marketing. I never would have thought I could make a sale from that list had I not just went and sent out that email.
I have spent to much time in the past being picky about my sites, tweaking this and that instead of emailing the lists with 50-100 people on them, or getting new links to my sites, or improving my google adwords ads, or buying advertising space on other sites etc etc.
Have a awesome evening.
Matt Geri.
