The guys at Search Engine Roundtable certainly think so. They suspect that there will be a major Google update and I believe their prediction. Maybe today’s doodle was all about the changes coming tomorrow.

If there’s a major Google update tomorrow, I might benefit from it because they might start displaying 30 results per page with the new update. I have many niche websites ranking between position #11 – 20. They might end up on the first page of the result. It will be interesting to see which rank positions would draw the highest CTR on the new 30 results pages. Maybe #11 is the new #10. Who knows.

Other possible updates may include : AJAX powered search results and streaming results as you type. Both features were spotted recently by many Google users.

These are just predictions. Google might bring out 100 new features or just one. No one knows. But I personally think 30 results page is an excellent idea and I hope they deliver it tomorrow. 15″ monitor days are long gone, let’s go for the 30 results page!

Surprise! Finally my blog started appearing on the 1st page of Google again for “niche marketing” as #10 result. My blog is currently #1 for “niche marketing blog” but it was on the 2nd page for “niche marketing” for very long time. I remember ranking #3 for “niche marketing” and #1 for “niche marketing forum” just a few years ago. I know I can do it again. It is my goal to get to #5. Andy’s blog ( here comes another backlink for him :P ) always out-ranked me in the past, so I’m satisfied with #5 position.
