Nofollow tag removed
Another quick update for you today.
I just removed the automatic “nofollow” tag from the comment links. I feel you deserve a link back when you write a quality comment. I have no problem with it.
I used DoFollow plugin (I remove it manually) for disabling the automatic nofollow tag. It’s very easy to install. Just upload and activate from your plugin control panel.
I hope to hear from you more often :)

I like your site and subscribed to your updates. When I try to access the password protected entries however the window goes blank on me. Just wonder whether anybody else has the same issue.

Alex,
I didn’t realize that either until recently. I just hope people do the same thing we did. :)

Great post - I didn’t even realised that was auto-enabled in wordpress … quite franckly I hate those games played by SE and fully agree that this tag is got to go once a good spam filtering plugin in place. Mine will be enabled right after this post …
Thanks again for a tips!

Smart move! :D The NOFOLLOW movement is great, and although I see why they would’ve added it in the first place, it’s easy to figure out that the advantages, at least for bloggers, are far greater than any disadvantages.
Encourages people to actively comment on your blog, and encourages you to actively comment on other people’s blog.
