Are you suffering from the long-weekend syndrome?

Unless you are a highly self-motivated person, you should have experienced the long weekend syndrome at least once in your career life. The weekend syndrome happens to people who works at their homes too. To me, Fridays are the most challenging. I have daily goals for my sites and I know I have to get things get done to enjoy the weekends with my families and friends. But it’s hard for me to do any productive tasks on Fridays.

Am I suffering from the long weekend syndrome?

Well, I recently came up with a solution for winning over my Friday “highs”. Everyday like everyone else, my brain gets filled with new ideas. Usually, I write them down in my “mental lock box” where I safely store them on a piece of paper. Each week, I pick a topic and build a site around it. When I do this, I get extremely excited. I even skip my meals and work very long hours.

I’ve started to leave the most exciting project for Fridays, so I can really use Fridays for productive works. So far, it’s been working for me. Actually, I’ve cheated by starting yesterday night, I couldn’t wait for the morning to start on this project.

I’m not saying you should be doing the same thing, but if you are suffering from the long weekend syndrome (can’t get anything done on Fridays and Mondays) try something different that breaks your normal working schedule. It works.

    Hi Chris,
I created that template for myself. Funny you mentioned, because you can download it for free on my blog. I think you’ve missed it. Here is the link.
