MarketingSyndrome.com has been one of the pioneer blogs that covered all aspects of niche marketing and making money online since 2005. I started my blog to help out my friends who wanted to do what I was doing online for living. My friends and I originally started with a private forum back in 2003. I kept it private for about a year until “all” of my friends quit online marketing. Yes, all of them quit as soon as they graduated from the college.

But everything changed in 2005. I no longer had “the” network. I was the only one doing niche marketing. My friends got jobs in NASA, NSA, FBI, and other government entities. Then I found blogging. I was thinking about blogging many years before, but never started one because I wasn’t fluent in English. But at the time, I found blogging the best way to network with other like-minded people.

On my blog, I started sharing everything I know about niche marketing, even sharing all my keywords and website addresses so that people can duplicate what I was doing. I remember giving away templates and articles so others can just put their Adsense code on it. It was really fun and my online revenue grew gradually.

In mid-2008, I took a break from niche marketing. You can read all about it at my blog post, “Niche Marketing Tips Once Again” I explained what I was doing since mid-2008. Basically, I got distracted badly. I started another business and it consumed all my time and energy.

My online income is now about 1/3 of what i was earning before. I can’t live off of my online income anymore if I shut down the other business right now. My goal this year is to get back in the game and make a full-time income again with niche marketing.

So MarketingSyndrome.com is going to be a journal of my progress. I will be sharing with you my experience as I progress. You will get to see my successes and failures. It might become a complete failure, who knows :)
