Potential niche topic

Here is a niche topic from my research file. I have a few hundred topics that needs to be explored and this is one of them. The word is…

alopecia areata (AA)

According to AAD (American Academy of Dermatology), nearly 2% of the U.S. population suffer from alopecia areata. If you are not familiar with the word, it is a hair loss in small, round patches that may go away on their own, or may last for many years. So who gets it? AA occurs world-wide in both genders and in every ethnic group. Children and young adults are most frequently affected, but persons of all ages are susceptible. One in five persons with AA has a family member who also has the disease.

This is a very annoying thing to have especially if you are a woman. I know from my own experience how difficult it is to live with AA. My wife had AA and we tried everything and purchased many products to cure AA. We’ve spent a small fortune on it. Just image having a hole in your hair for years.

Anyway, this can be very lucrative market to get into. General hairloss market is very crowded now. AA could be a great topic if you still want to get into hair loss market.

When you research for keywords, consider abbrev. and spelling errors. Also other terms such as circular hair loss and circular patch.

Have fun with the keyword :)
